Are you ready for the media?
Media training in the Middle East is becoming increasingly important as its landscape is fast changing, redeveloping itself in the ways it processes and accesses information. At The Content Factory, our integrated approach brings a broader perspective to media training that goes beyond merely dealing with journalists to providing an in-depth understanding of how media works in the region.
So what do you expect to learn from our media training?
A full day of interactive sessions that will equip all your key people with the knowledge and skills to deal effectively with the full variety of media platforms. Print, online, TV and radio, in Arabic and in English, across the diverse countries that make up the Middle East region.
The three stages:
- Preparation: background research and consolidation of materials and key messages and how they could realistically be used in media situations.
- Training day: the training course usually includes a mixture of presentation, role play, case histories and discussion.
- Assessment: A DVD containing a synopsis of the presentations and all of the role played interviews is usually delivered to the participants along with written critique of each delegate.
Relationships are everything. Conducting an interview with a journalist is one thing. Creating a meaningful relationship with them, is another. Attending a media training session is one thing. Mastering the art of media relations is another! What we’re trying to say is that media training should be an ongoing, continuous effort.
Just as essential as being able to deal with media under controlled situations, dealing with them in times of crisis requires a state of preplanning where processes and procedures are laid down and rolled out effectively. Our crisis management course activates this state of readiness to enable your organizations to deal with internal and external public relations issues.
We work with the most experiences trainers, in both Arabic and English, who’ve developed very unique insights into the region’s media landscape. Please do get on touch to discuss your media training needs.
